Check work progress: Today, replies and alerts
Start on Today to check your mates’ progress. Conversation replies, reports and items waiting for a decision have separate places to open them.
Where to go
The dashboard opens on Today, at the top of the sidebar.
| Area | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Mate row | A summary for each mate. Select her name to open her page. |
| Three summaries | Today’s conversations, Handed in today and Conversations, last 30d. These are summaries. |
| Needs your attention | Alerts with links to the relevant page. Decision items open a card here. |
| Answered | Your recent replies and what happened next. Appears when records exist. |
| Latest activity | Available events from the last 24 hours, newest first, up to 30 items. |
Find results
- For a question or one-time task, select your mate → Chats and open the conversation.
- For a requested report, open Management → Reports. Report alerts on Today also open the item. See Reports.
- For “waiting for your decision,” open the card and follow Decisions.
- For recurring work, open Management → Schedule and check the last result and next run. See Schedules.
Not every task creates a report. Check the reply, file or report against the result you asked for.
Check what happened after your reply
Select Answered, then an item to read your reply and its result. This list covers replies from the last 7 days, up to 5 items per mate. A dot marks a new result you have not opened.
Queued or running work is still in progress. No result means nothing has been returned yet. Use the mate’s conversations for older work.
Follow an alert
| Alert | Guide |
|---|---|
| Mate stopped or not responding | Mate not responding; first check whether she is on leave. |
| Disk, memory or backup problem | Backup and resource problems. |
| High compute wait | Host status. |
| Advanced access still open | Root access. |
| Notification not sent | Message problems. |
| Failed scheduled work | Schedule problems. |
| Dashboard update available | Versions. |
When data is unavailable
An unavailable usage, report or decision notice means that data was not fetched. Wait for a retry, then open the relevant page. If it persists, see Dashboard data problems.
Unresolved alerts stay until handled; extra items may appear as “N more.” No current alerts does not replace checking the work result in its conversation or report.
