Approve mate actions: commands and execution mode
When a command or rules-file change needs approval, your mate waits for your answer. Read the action, then allow it once, allow similar actions in this conversation or refuse.
Find the request
Approval cards appear in dashboard chats. Use Take a look on a pending-command banner to open the relevant mate. Check her name, request time and contents.
Telegram command approvals arrive as text requiring a typed reply. Follow that message’s scope options. This is separate from approving a Telegram account during setup.
Read before answering
| Request | Check |
|---|---|
| Command execution | The target, data changes, cost, interruption and assigned scope. |
| Rules-file change | The filename and effect on future behavior. Ask why if you did not request it. |
Web pages and files may contain instructions that influence the mate. If the action is unclear, hidden or unrelated, select No and ask for an explanation.
| Button | Scope |
|---|---|
| Just this once | This action only. |
| For this conversation | Similar actions in this conversation without repeated questions. |
| No | Refuse the action. |
Some requests offer only one-time approval or refusal. Check the answer confirmation, then the conversation for completion.
Waiting and expiry
The current service supplies a 48-hour wait when no custom timeout exists. Custom values remain, and older versions may differ.
After a timeout, the requested command was not executed. Tell her whether it is still needed and ask for a new request. If the request is already gone, check whether it was answered elsewhere. After a reload with missing command contents, refuse or stop and request an explanation.
Command mode
Select the mate → Manage → How commands are run. Choose a mode, select Apply and check the current selection after saving.
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Always ask me | Risky commands wait for approval. |
| Let her judge | She proceeds when judged safe and asks when unsure. |
| Never ask | Disables this interception across channels, including deletion and system changes. Read and confirm the additional warning. |
Choose Always ask me and apply to restore confirmation. If the current setting is unavailable, check the mate’s running state first.
Scope of this protection
This command check does not request permission for every file read, memory lookup or outbound transfer. Review available records in Activity. Host-level access is managed through Root access.
