Advanced tools: native UI, logs and terminals
Advanced tools provide raw records and controls outside the dashboard’s everyday features. Check the mate and scope first, and ask support for guidance when needed.
Choose Native workspace, Container logs, Terminals or System audit log. For daily work, start with the interface map.
Native workspace (Hermes UI)
Open the dashboard → Mate Settings → select a mate → Hermes UI. An existing OpenClaw mate shows OpenClaw UI. Her Manage tab also provides this control.
- Check that the mate is running and that you know what to inspect or change.
- Select the native-UI button. Read the daily first-use notice and select Continue.
- Check that the new tab belongs to the selected mate, then use the required feature.
Changes can directly affect the mate. Create a state backup before changing important settings. If she is stopped, check Manage first. If no workspace address is available, contact support.
Container logs
Mate Settings → select a mate → Container Logs. This shows the latest 200 lines, usually in English, with UTC timestamps.
Select Refresh to load new lines; they do not update automatically. For failed work or startup, inspect the last lines around that time. Hide keys, passwords, sign-in links and unnecessary personal details before sharing.
For Failed to load logs, refresh once and check sign-in and mate status. Contact support if it continues.
Terminals
| Entry | Scope |
|---|---|
| Mate Settings → select a mate → Terminal | That mate’s container. Use this for WhatsApp setup. |
| Host Operations → Advanced host operations → Terminal | The whole host, potentially affecting every mate and service. |
Read the first-use notice and select Continue to open a new tab. Commands may execute directly, without individual confirmation or an undo button. Use them when you understand the purpose and impact, or follow official instructions or support guidance.
System audit log
Open Host Operations → System Action Log for the latest 100 system operations, including time, actor, target and result. Select Refresh for new records.
This covers system actions such as restores and Root access. Everyday work and schedules use Activity. A load error differs from No entries.
For Alert push stalled over 1 hour under SSH Alert Push, check external connectivity using Message and notification problems.
Resource configuration
Advanced resource settings involve CPU and RAM limits, plus allocation priorities when resources are tight. Changes may require a restart. Ask support to check available capacity, allowed changes and interruption first. Provide figures from Host Resources and mate health cards, then follow their guidance.
command line shell SSH log audit container records quota
